Tinicum Environmental Advisory Committee (EAC) 1990 - 1997 Environmental Advisory Committees help Planning Commissions in reviewing building and subdivision plans from an environmental impact viewpoint, giving the environment a voice in development decisions. Tinicum’s EAC was one of the first in the area, and many surrounding municipalities now incorporate an EAC in their planning decisions. During my time on the EAC we met with landowners and developers to review the environmental impact of their proposals, creating smart growth without damaging the natural beauty we all know and love. |
